New Kindle Formatting
In light of my recent decision to change jobs I struck out on a task to ensure that my current titles being offered were in their best form. I will of course be looking forward to whatever potential earnings I can produce. What I discovered, of course, was that in the span of about six months, I had missed out on so many easy updates that could make my titles look much more professional.
That’s the way new technology works. It develops so quickly that if you blink, you’ll be missing out on the latest new functions and abilities. Both Saturday and Sunday then became long working days for me as I stayed up in the wee hours of the night perfecting the new formatting on my titles. My two novels are now available in their enlightened and glorified perfection!
I am still updating my other two titles and adding more bonus content to them! Customers will now have the opportunity to receive much more story at an even better price, and I know most people are all about value. What I’ve done, is basically combined all my short stories into compilations instead of selling each of them at low ball prices. The Owen Roader Short Stories and the Harry Armstrong Short Stories will be available within the next few weeks, as soon as I put the finishing touches on them.
This did put my Book in a Month attempt in jeopardy, however, considering all that has happened and all that I have accomplished the last few weeks, I have no issues freely admitting that I may not be able to complete my 70,000 words within 31 days. Authors do it all the time when they must meet quotas, though most if not all of them do not also have a 50 hour work week that they must plan around.
Currently I have 26,812 words in my Harry Armstrong novel. I would need at least 36,880 at this point in order to fulfill my goal, however, I am still plugging along. This attempt, plus my fevered desire to rework the last two Owen Roader stories and roll them into a compilation, and to complete the last Harry Armstrong short story for that compilation, is producing long work days and little sleep.
But I’m a warrior!
